Along with the farm, a share TROPS Cooperative is included, thanks to which, all the production is sold at the best market price, in addition, they provide agricultural advisory service, with agronomist engineers available for any questions and foliar analysis, of land and water annually to see the supplements that are needed for optimal production.
Given its extension and availability of water, there are areas of the farm that could also be used for this or other crops.
For the irrigation of these plantations, it has a concession from the Southern Hydrographic Confederation, for the use of surface waters of the lake (one of the largest private companies in the province) located on the property, enough for the irrigation of 3 times more than number of trees planted. In the lake is the irrigation ship, in which there is a complete and fully automated irrigation equipment for the entire farm with its corresponding fertilizer spreader, tanks, etc.
Currently, around 35,000 kg of avocados are being harvested, mostly of the Hass variety, although Bacon, Fuerte and Pinkerton varieties can also be found. This amount is expected to be double in the next 5 years when the new plantations fully produce. The currently uncultivated areas with subtropics are used for sowing cereals and grass. In addition, they are leased to local shepherds with annual contracts.
